How we review a golf course
Every course page on Summerlin.Golf is a review. An editor books a standard tee time and plays the course as any guest would, without comps or special treatment, and the write-up carries a plain verdict: who the course is for, what it costs, how to get on, and whether it earns its green fee. The facts table on each page is read from the operator's own website on a stated date and marked "details verified"; where an operator publishes nothing, we say so rather than borrow a number from a third-party listing. We audited 35 of our own listings against the operators in September 2026 and corrected sixteen.
Below the editorial verdict, each page carries player reviews rated across six criteria: conditions, value, layout, greens, pace and staff. They are moderated, and they are the part of the site we most want you to add to. We publish no star ratings of our own and no aggregate score, because a course that is perfect for a 20-handicap on a Tuesday morning can be the wrong call for a scratch player on a Saturday, and a single number hides exactly that.
