Southern Nevada's Premier Golf Media
Summerlin.Golf is the premier independent media source for championship golf, course reviews, and luxury golf-community real estate in Summerlin and the greater Las Vegas area. We are the editorial authority locals and luxury buyers turn to — and we are not affiliated with, nor paid by, any course, developer, brokerage, or tourism board.
Our Mission
We set out to build the resource we wished existed when researching Summerlin golf: straightforward course information, honest playing-condition notes, unbiased community profiles, and reliable data on the real-estate market that surrounds the game here. Las Vegas has become a serious golf destination — hosting PGA TOUR events, attracting year-round play, and growing a robust market for golf-community homes — and we think that deserves coverage grounded in local knowledge rather than promotional copy.
Our goal is simple: give golfers and prospective residents accurate, useful intelligence so they can make informed decisions about where to play and where to live.
What We Cover
The site is organized around five areas:
- Golf Course Profiles — hole-by-hole overviews, yardage, par, access type (public / semi-private / private), greens fees where publicly listed, and course-condition context.
- Course Reviews — editorial assessments of layout strategy, conditions, pace, and value, based on published course data, operator information, local knowledge, and player reviews.
- Interactive Course Map — all Summerlin-area courses plotted geographically so you can understand proximity to neighborhoods, freeways, and each other.
- Golf Communities & Real Estate — profiles of guard-gated and golf-course communities: HOA structures, membership options, price ranges drawn from publicly available listing data, and lifestyle context.
- Events, Tournaments & Lifestyle — coverage of local tournament calendars, charitable events, and the broader culture of living and playing golf in the Summerlin area.
Editorial Standards
We hold ourselves to a clear editorial standard — independent, sourced, and never pay-to-play. Here is what that means in practice:
- Primary sources first. Greens fees, course ratings, yardages, and community prices are sourced from official course websites, public MLS data, or direct contact. Where we cannot verify a figure, we say so or omit it.
- Last-updated context. Course and community profiles carry a "last reviewed" or "last updated" note so you know how fresh the information is. Golf conditions and real-estate markets change; check with the source before acting on anything time-sensitive.
- Independence. We do not accept payment from courses, communities, or developers in exchange for coverage or favorable reviews. We cover what is genuinely useful to our readers.
- Affiliate disclosure. Some links on this site may be affiliate links (for example, links to booking platforms or gear retailers). We disclose these where they appear. Affiliate relationships do not influence which courses or products we recommend.
- Corrections. If you spot an error — a changed fee, a closed course, a misquoted statistic — please let us know. We update promptly and note the correction in the relevant article.
